This Privacy Policy describes how Mamba Apps ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and discloses information when merchants install or use our Shopify application through the Shopify App Store. By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
When you install the App, we may collect certain information from your Shopify store to provide the service. This may include:
Shop InformationWhen a customer purchases a product that was added to their cart through the App's cross-sell widget, we record: the Shopify order ID, line item ID, product and variant ID, quantity, the line item amount and currency, and the date the order was placed.
We do not collect or store customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or billing and shipping addresses. The App is not approved to access these fields, and Shopify redacts them from the data we receive.
We collect this information either directly from Shopify via their API or automatically through the use of technologies such as log files and cookies.
The App does not intentionally collect or store personal data from your store's customers beyond the order data described above.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure.
Order data used for revenue analytics is retained for as long as the App is installed on your store, because it is required to display historical performance. All other data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the App and comply with our legal obligations.
If you uninstall the App, we will delete or anonymize your store data within a reasonable period unless retention is required for legal or operational purposes.
Merchants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their stored data at any time.

For stores located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Shopify may also send us data deletion requests on behalf of merchants through required GDPR webhooks, which we process accordingly.
When Shopify sends a customer data erasure request, we delete the order records associated with that request. When Shopify sends a shop erasure request, or when you uninstall the App, we delete all order records for your store.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or improvements to the App.
When we update the policy, the "Last updated" date will be revised.
